i noticed that last night. my mom and all my aunts were so loud. sooooo loud!!! older chinese women are pretty loud. but all my chinese girlfriends and their friends are pretty quiet.
maybe it's an age thing. or maybe it's because they were all drunk celebrating the new year.
anyway, it could be worse. i sit by this russian lady at work and all she does is talk with her friends on the phone all day in the monotone russian language. it's like a the chinese water torture. slow painful death.
her cellphone also goes off 30 times a day.
she's also sick 200 days out of the year and refuses to see a doctor. so everyone here has caught her cold, flu, virus, etc, once.
and the food she brings in smells somewhere between feet and wet laundry.
