23kon: Fear not. We didn't "come from monkeys". Think of it this way: all of life boils down to a sequence of 4 nucleotides arranged in a particular order. The designer felt that the general morphological plan of the hominid worked well and so the algorithm of life produced humans at the appropriate set interval.
