Don't even start me on Coachella, went to it just before leaving SF to live in London and was sickened by it...
my gripes
Police as security FUCK THAT
watching people get arrested for smoking a J or bringing beer into the camp ground FUCK THATLights out in the camp ground one hour after the bands finish FUCK THAT i am not a 5yr old on summer camp.
Bands both nights Beastie boys and RHCP cutting sets short to adhere to the 12am end of licence FUCK THAT i am in the fucking desert for a start play all fucking night thats what i came for.
Que for over an hour to get into the venue and only being able to buy there shitty overpriced small water and shitty watery beer FUCK THAT!
Beatie Boys being booed for Anti-Bush statements FUCK THAT
Preppy rupublican crowd who compromised 85% of the crowd and rocked up in SUV's
FUCK THEM!In summary save yourself the heatache and hassle.
Get on a plane fly to the UK
and go to Glastonbury
-More bands than you can shake a stick at
-friendly drug dealers
-Take in as much booze as you like
-Camp whereever you like
-Friendly security guards
-Police turn a blind eye to everything other than violence which there is none of anyway
-Light fires where ever you like.And what happens when you allow people these freedoms and treat them like adults???
They have a fucking unadulterated damn amazing festival....
