Honestly, I don't drive that much anyway so I wouldn't know yet. It's probably much more fun when you're on the bus and can harass random passengers or friends.
And yes, Nairn, North Americans use the phrase 'touch wood' when we feel we've jinxed something or something superstitious like that.
