thanks gruntt. i've been doing some reading on how to cope with someone with a terminal illness and am realizing her reactions to the situation are very normal.
it's a lot to consider. i want to fight for her but i've got to be patient and understanding and realize she's got some emotional issues to work through. her loss of autonomy is the biggest hurdle right now.
