I almost went there once but it gets booked out fast. I've had drinks there, it's too slick and very expensive, not really worth it imo.
A much better choice it the Bloomsbury Bowling place round the corner (under a hotel near russell sq), you walk down what looks like the entrance to an underground car park, but it's a really cool authentic looking 1950s bowling alley, bit rough around the edges not slick like allstar, good music and very retro (and cheaper):
