OK – I understand your concerns about the CD Booklet. I say we ditch it. The idea is excellent but unpractical and I feel it might be too gimmicky for my target group.
Here are my thoughts:
I would like the folded cognate/false cognate to be used on the teacher training manual only. For teachers, this ‘haute’ linguistic concept will resonate. With potential students, it feels like too much of a good thing. It may confuse the issue.
For the Dutch and English brochures, I agree with the one illustration per folder appoach. The emblem on the front (1st page) of the concept 2 brochure feels too big for me. I want to make sure the front focuses on the company name and the products we sell.
For the Dutch and English brochures I have a concept (for the space which would have been used for cognates) I’d like to throw at you but I’d prefer to explain it to you on the phone or in person. Could I call you tonight? Do I have your mobile number?
