way back when, my 1st computer was a spectrum ZX81 with 1k (just under, actually), or RAM. In theory, you could load programs in from cassette tape and 'play' 'games', quotes mine.
Confounded thing was, that of the 3 tape players I bought, none would work with my machine, so I was left to 'play' with the coding manual to write my own 1k 'games'...Instead of growing up fighting 'terrorists' (the inverse 'k') with my weapons (the close bracket and the semi-colon), the experience means I now program with significantly more ram, colors, sound and more.
