gorgeous work!
make all the words clickable too as well as the icons tho, i didn't realise you had to click the tampon to get into modernista.
basically it's beautiful but hard to find your way around. maybe you should just have one level of nav? So as soon as you click something you get an image, and then if it's a series perhaps arrows to get the next/prev one in the series.
that will make your site's mental model much clearer to understand without being beyond your technical ability.
Also, target your clients very specifically. Only a few people are going to get this but those few will love it so don't approach corporate types and then get down on yourself if they don't like it.
