  there's 2 ways you could do it.

  1st way: save the image as a 24-bit PNG file with tranparency then use it as your background image - this won't work in IE 6 tho without some javascript: http://tinyurl.com/y9xthg

  2nd way: in photoshop make the image fade from the background colour to your chosen other colour then apply it as a background image: http://dmxzone.com/ShowDetail.as…
