gatwick to brixton take the train if you want to save your pennies. it'll take an hour or so, you gotta get the train to victoria and then the tube down to brixton. a taxi ride from there will run, hoo, i dunno at least 30 quid i'd think.
raf, you're gonna be in brixton, eh? i live right there! drop me a mail if you fancy meeting up for a pint. moth is in the neighbourhood, too.
as for the tate, a few words of advice: if you want to go on the slides, get there early, preferably on a weekday cos everyone wants to go on them. you can't just waltz up to the 5th floor and hop on, either, you have to queue at the ticket office in turbine hall for timed tickets. then you go at a certain time. last saturday i went at 3 or so and the next available time slot for level five slide was 8!
there's so much to see and do in london it stopped being funny ages ago. lemme see if i can find the last thread i posted stuff in. hang on.
