duplicate the pages that the spot varnish is going on. Then delete all items on the page that will not get the varnish. Then make the boxes that get the varnish a PMS colur, however, i would rename the spot as "varnish". And absolutly, call your vendor and make sure there is a clear understanding between the two of you on the end product.
