I've worked with Sash Baron Cohen and he's a pretty nice guy. Bit of an air of being a rich fop though and not grounded in reality. His life is now definately like no one elses and I suspect it was priviliged to begin with.
If he hasn't got the common sense to respect someones liberties and launch what is a premeditated attention seeking stunt on some innocent passer by, I think it's at best naive. Smacks of thinking you can get away with anything and other than right-on Americans who feel they need to intellectualise the ridiculous policies of their country, I think anyone should feel that he asked for it. My sympathies would lie much more with some unfortunate down and out who gets beaten up as they have no options and don't know better...reality check Sasha.
