    Thanks for that Bukowski track, Bolus - it really resonates.

    I can't help feeling that his gravelly husky voice is at-the-very-least-a-little effected, though - and might still tempt me to go for something a little more varied after a few tracks.

    I'm quite easily affected by the tone of music - I let it seep right in and submit utterly (even if I don't pay attention to the lyrics! :) - which is why I can't listen to Johnny Cash's 'Hurt' any more - too many associations, too real, too likely to make me reach for the razor blade...
