if you don't mind dodging another tuppence, I think focusing too much on the serious issue will make it seem too po-faced to pull in any punters - people first and foremost will wont to go and have fun and see a good band IN AID of a good cause, but pushing the horror of domestic violence too much will turn them off. people are pretty simple at the end of the day, a serious night out wont look like too much fun. That's overstating it obviously, but you know what I mean.
