my girlfriends a phsycologist and she thinks too much about my work! She always asks why to everything! And design really doesnt have to have an answer!

I know where you're coming from...I mean...psychologists tend to be more inquisitive in the relationships which sometimes causes the partner to get frustrated and believe that they are just being analyzed by the psychologist.
Maybe you should look at yourself first...
