    bump this for Bio tomorrow, he is the NT'er large print advice man around...

    my brother works on a company of large-format printing, but I have no experience on that field,
    one thing that he told me is that if you increase the dimensions, it's safe if you decrease on the resolution...

    example: you have a 8x8 inch print to make, do it at 300 dpi, if you have 16X16inch 150dpi will be enough, at 32X32 inch sized document, 96 dpi for print will be good and so on and so forth.. till 32dpi (the minimum I worked on -large outdoors)

    work with TIFF's and a good amount of memory...

    that's all I know so that a print work can come out decently... (but not sure) and all depends on the print hardware and pre-print employers you will deal with.
