because Herc gave his business card to Marlo for the return of his surveillance camera and Marlo gave the card to Prop Joe

(Nov 7 06, 06:56)they showed prop joe calling the police station and finding out herc worked in major crimes. Prop joe is a better poker player than Marlo. He bluffed about his sources because he knew it was the one way to get Marlos on his package.
