If you have 2 gigantic monitors, does your productivity just highrocket?

No Joke. It really does...
Also a good amount of ram helps a lot.
Doesn't even have to be two high quality monitors. Just working with two helps you organize things better and you don't need to worry about switching around programs on the screen.
I started with a 17 inch laptop and a 15 inch CRT. Even then I was more productive than just on my laptop.
I've upgraded a bit ;) but I highly recommend it.
