    I don't have a degree.
    I used to convince myself that I was anti-establishment and that I didn't need a bit of paper to say 'I have talent.'

    I did a course when I was 17 to learn the software basics. Everything else I know is self taught.

    I now worry that, despite the 3yrs industry experience I have and a decent portfolio, graduates know/have something I don't.

    I would be interested to speak to someone from a respected agency, for example, about the real advantages of having a degree.

    Is there elitism in our industry?
