I don't necessarilyl hate all system fonts, I just hate that they get used out of laziness in some design.
I also hate that people who design stuff on their computers but aren't designers always choose the worst font on their machine.
So many times someone will do a cover for some document and use some swirly shit, when from the choice they have times will do fine.
