most photographers i know would send a cease-and-desist notice. if search around on the net you can find some good ones. then follow up with a phone call saying if you like the images you can use them....but they will cost you. if they don't go for that or they don't respond then contact a layer
but keep in mind - is this going to be worth it. if you don't think your going to get anywhere - cut your loses.
