I like the concept, runs like shit on my mac, but runs nice and smooth on my PC. Probably need to optimize your coding....
The drop shadow under the hand cursor is a little distracting, probably cause it makes the mouse feel above everything. I found myself clicking based on the position of the shadow, not the hand.
Other then that- I would also check on your resizing code, doesn't seem to be working correctly.
Other then that- I like it
