Do you knwo your stuff about Laptop Soundcards? I'm asking cos im looking for a new one at the moment thats going to be able to handle ableton and loads of synths.What i need is a card/box with digital optical outs (for good studio sound), midi in (and out), and instrument/mic in/outs, headphones out (for making music quietly).

i like the idea of the cardbus system. that i could leave the outbreak box in the studio and just take the card with me to play stuff live (if i dont need any external instruments) or for just tweaking tunes out and about.any help appreciated.

Well ive seen them go on ebay recently from anywhere between £80-£125. I'd be happy with 80 likes. thatl help with cash towards new soundcard :)
