Cocteau Twins and Dead Can Dance floored me every time when A new 12" would come out.
not only did I love the music - but the level of creativity was unlike any other album cover I'd seen before.
I was also reading Gaiman/Sandman - covers by Dave McKean which also played a huge influence.
