    right, but i'd bet that they learned on good cameras.

    Eggleston's first camera was a Canon range finder, no piece of crap that was. I would be willing to bet he moved to Leica ($3,000) or something comparable in later life.

    Stieglitz was turn of the century, he helped show us the way.. tech was pretty low then.

    Adams, are you kidding? Low res? That's just silly talk. :P

    I'm just saying that you can say that a good photographer negates the camera... but good photographers use good cameras
