  love colbert - you should check out what he did to bush at the Press Corps Corespondent Dinner (Youtube it) - alltho the very fact that he was invited leads me to believe that the republicans are trying to distance themselves from bush before the elections through stuff like this -

  plus senators come on the show to get burned and gain credibility and adress other types of voters.
