I think the PS battle idea is dope, I remember back at art college in PS class we were learning to use the cloning tool on this photo of a girl on the beach....needless to say where my minimalist/reductionist practice came into play .... I can see Linza wearing nothing more than what she was brought into this world wearing....maybe a great extraneous element for the website. A gallery of bruised and abused mentalists...
As for the posters, I think the one on the left has the greater potential in terms of adding a 'party' or 'rock' element... I was playing around with removing the existing tattoo and placing the 'gimme shelter' type vespa made, but I kept thinking, why? Are modern music albums, covers etc, not as equally concept-driven without having to hammer the literal content of the album spelled out in the design? Cannot the form and text be enough to garner attention? Is flesh no longer enticing? Is the the text 'charity' and 'the mentalists' not enough? Should it be bigger?
regardless, changing the typeface, typesetting and maybe adding a different, more relevant tattoo would be enough?
I dunno... once again, just another concept to rip apart...
