duder- don't know how i missed this thread, but it is rough. been there last year during a gnarly-long 1-client session of about 8 months of work. it was getting bleak from a creative perspective and i was getting pissed. at the time, i was living in Peru and it occured to me how much i was having to work on thisclients project and not spending the time on experiences of Peru (well, i was, but not as many as i wantd).

i firmly believe the only constant is change an dembrace it whenever possible. i ended the project early(although it was done) and started a donation project for 4 communities in impoverished areas in Lima that needed *anything* so they could get through their lives. that is what did it. helping others and using what i do everyday, but pointed towards direct change and impact. it may seem selfish, but giving that much and coordinating the monies we collected through friends, families, relatives, etc was one of the most rewarding acts i have ever done.

helping others with change can change you and your perspective for self-growth.

i will probably always look to that as basis for self-critque.
