    Pilgrim: Your opening up a can of beans demanding 'innovative' as house seems to want to go back to the eighties (ahem, electro?) and hip hop, well. Don't get me started. With the exception of Def Jux there is not much on there but bling bling.

    To claim any type of music is stale is naive. You're not digging deep enough. If you don't feel it, say that and leave it be.

    As for good tunes:

    Klute's Lie Cheat and Steal album (most of the whole record kicks ass).

    Calibres remix of Jeheim (fuck it, anything by calibre)

    Intalex - barracuda

    High Contrast is also doing beautiful work.

    London Elektricty - Billion Dollar Gravy (the video is wicked as well)

    The thing with drum and bass is that it gets better when there is no attention on it. The scene may be stale, the music keeps getting better refined.

    And sites: It begins and ends with the arena. Plus radio shows on Radio One and Radio X(bbc.co.uk)
