it works like ephedra yes.
it boosts your metabolism and helps you burn calories while giving you a boost of energy for quite a while. i wouldn't drink the whole thing at once though. i made the mistake of doing that once during my workout. best workout ever but i thought i was going to pass out. it works... REEEEEALLY GOOD.
