    try to get your $ together and shoot for something closer to $1000 - $1200. the difference between that and a $500 bike is incredible. specialized, giant, and trek all have something good in the 1k price range. seriously, the different is well worth it.

    i wound not by used at all. you just dont know how its been ridden or kept. small cracks in the aluminum, bottom brackets can fail if not maintained... all that. just buy a solid new bike.
