no one said that what your profs tell you is the end all be all... in reality it's just another opinion, some people like stuff and some people don't.
I had one bad prof who belonged in 1950, but my others were fantastic. I am pursuing grad school so I have opportunities to teach. It's not an ego thing, I just really enjoy working with people and teaching, and I love design.
