It's interesting reading this thread next to the grafik redesign one. I'm not a big fan of avant-garde myself, but the use of the lowercase in the large headlines in grafik is something that I really like.
What I don't like about it is the uppercase. Not sure why but I find that 'R' really very unattractive. And, as has been said already, it is used a lot. Not a bad thing, and I'm sure only designers really notice its common usage.
