I agree with all of the points mentioned, except maybe the note of "everything at once" vs "selective iteration". I think it's important to always have the ad, site, whatever, grasped as a uniform whole before you tackle each part. Being (too) selective can lead to loss of consistancy.
...But I might have misinterpret their point.They forgot to mention awesome designers though. You know, those artsy guys who are popular enough to get away with almost anything. They earn quite a living.
And then theres ultimate designers. Those guys that do what awesome designers do, except they do it right. Without any boasting.
