i agree with humain. gentrification did make new york lose its edge.
LES was a lot fun 8-10yrs ago as far as i remember. now it's all commercial or driven by wannabes and hasbeens.
it has both good and bad. also the way i see things has changed. the city changes and the new generation of young people will define with whatever they wish while others just move on and do what we do and enjoy different aspects of life.
