I really enjoyed watching the movie but in retrospect so many things bug me about it. Matt Damon's character was so flat; no chemistry between him and his gf. I thought a real opportunity was lost there in letting us see any emotion and conflict in Damon's character.
I also thought Nicholson's character was one dimensional. We're supposed to believe that he was able to seduce this kid into his fold? I didn't see the charisma.
Dicaprio was great...and I have been committed to not liking him so it's hard for me to say. :)
And what happened to the girlfriend?
