I always like easy on/easy off costumes, so I have two standards:
1) I safety pin a whole bunch of socks to myself and when someone asks "What are you supposed to be?" I tell em "Static cling."
2) I buy those suction cup devil horn things, stick em on my head and make up a bunch of biz cards that read:
"Agent of Satan:
Duties Mostly Ceremonial."
Trust me, at 4am it works alot better than walking around in the remnants of whatever lame costume you started with earlier.
