Def Vespa that's a dam good idea. Even if coulden't get a venue together you could even volunteer to play a gig at the Xmas drinkers shelter in Morgate where I was at last year. They get all sorts performing and seeing a high calibre band play would fuckin rock. You def get a pretty dam enthused crowd they were loving everyone playing and surprisingly the nicest drunks i have been around in ages..
If you seriously are thinking about putting on a gig at a venue to raise some cash I will help you out all i can!
