I started young but fucked my knees and ankles. So when I started Snowboarding I gave up skating as I would of killed myself had I injured myself skating and had to forgo my passion of snowboarding. Though as years passed i missed skating so bad so i got a longboard, i totally recommend this as a way to get into skating if your just looking for the ride more so than bustin trix. They have it all speed, flex and the ability to ride over gutters and small marsupials without coming off. Get chor'self a sector 9 if you got the kish kash or any other one if not..... don't take it to seriously there are 14 years olds that continually shame me with there ability.. just ride and have fun bro!
