Get what you can afford?
Insurance wise, I bought an old Honda '92 since I still get like another year of paying out the ass for blakently being "young and irresponsible."
I usually fall back taht a car is just from point A to point B, but the more people I know getting new cars and letting me drive them around, I plan on splurging eventually.
