it's an old rivalry. many years ago Citgo started selling delicous toasted subs. Quiznos stole the idea (although they'll never admit it) and launched the sandwich company that we all know and love. Citgo (rightfully) demanded recognition but Quiznos made them out to be "Just a gas station. Who buys a sandwich at a gas station? Gross." It's a bitter feud.
