I prefer to have choice.
That's a god given gift which, even when it goes against me, i f®©king love it. "How would you lose your choice? You still have a choice if you want to click on a banner ad or not today. They are just trying to target you to the things the computer reads that you more often buy. This doesn't mean I cannot walk into a bookstore later today and buy a book on a subject that no computer would ever think i would be interested in.
it all sounds like you like the idea of fighting for some rights you think you have.
