I would stay in causeway bay mate - it's a buzzy place...what are you looking to do? Let me know and I will point you in the right directions!
You will definately want to hit the southside of the Island though - Stanley Market and ShekO...maybe Big Wave Bay if you like secluded beaches and hiking...
