is that the eastside of Oahu you are staying at? Looks similar to the Kailuha area...

(Sep 20 06, 10:37)it's actually maui. mostly the kaanapali area to be exact. that's where the resort was at. the pictures of the shops are in lahaina also on maui.
i was in oahu last december and it's similar, but way more people. maui has fewer people. it was nice to walk the beach and be alone after walking a mile or so away.
