A lot of people didn't like this movie starring Eddie Murphy, Robert DeNiro and William Shatner among others, however, I thought it was great for what it was and what it was supposed to be.
I saw it in theatres, and own it on DVD.
... Then again I'm a pretty big Eddie Murphy fan and also thought Daddy Day Care had some redeeming qualities.
