you may get a better bang for your buck if you choose less generic keywords and go for specific phrases,
so instead of 'football club' choose 'leeds united football club'-
you can setup campaigns for groups of keywords and use them to compare the performance - so whatever works for you best
you might also want to opt out of advertising on partner sites (site that use adsense to generate income)
