- I was really hoping he was going to say, "It's because I don't play defense." But now, I finally have a reason to not like David Ortiz. Notice that Jeter refuses to talk about the MVP, and ... plays defense. Not just plays defense, but is one of the best Shorstops in ALL of baseball, not just the AL. See you in the playoffs BoSux ... OH WAIT!!!!
Please also notice that he contradicts himself in the article...
