thanks to the people who replied with suggestions, Tommy I like what you are saying about supplying limited concepts, I'll try that method in the future, though many people do feel shortchanged to get only one, they definitely see less and less. Anyway, I got back to them and said fine, and for the record Redmond, I wasn't throwing my toys, I just wanted to know what people thought about defending your point, where to draw the line. I decided that to argue my point would only create tension and not change their mind, so I decided against it. Presenting the logos in person would have been ideal and I'm certain a different choice would have been made, however, the client is currently filming in Namibia so that was not possible.
