i have studied music journalistics and i see people trying to put across the methods of how and why and so, but i think that you can not write about music without having played instruments etc. music is of course a feeling but it is also something more complex, that is why i like britpop for their naivety and way of capturing climatic changes in culture. interesting point about the arctic monkeys by baskerville, i can believe that they most definitely had help with lyrics as they are so young and experiences as a 19year-old is not so varied. the music is simple but yeah okay they may have help lyrically.
